This page explains the information used to prepare downloads and display optional advertising on ShareCrate.
Download sessions
We use a temporary first-party browser cookie to associate a download with your browser. The cookie lasts up to one hour. Download sessions last up to ten minutes and store the selected game and file, preparation times and a random attempt identifier.
The handoff code used to open ShareCrate is temporary and removed from the address before the download page loads. We count download journey stages and outbound attempts to understand whether the flow is working. An outbound attempt does not confirm that a file finished downloading.
Optional advertising
Your advertising preference is saved in this browser. Optional advertising loads only after you allow it. Ad providers may then receive your IP address, browser information and cookies, according to their own privacy policies. You can change your choice with Ad preferences in the footer.
Refusing optional ads does not prevent downloading. Clearing browser storage resets your saved preference.
Support and external destinations
Support forms open on RomsNova and follow its privacy information. File hosts and websites opened from this service operate under their own terms and privacy practices.
